All Build Energy Ratings is fully qualified and licensed by SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland), to provide Building Energy Rating Certificates (BER Certs) for all residential property types.

FAQ

Q. How long does it take the assessor to carry out the survey?
A. Depending on the size of the property the survey would take typically between 30 and 60 minutes.

Q. How soon after the survey is completed will I have the BER Cert?
A. The data from the survey has to be assessed and submitted to SEAI for approval before publication. This is done via email and generally we try to have the BER Cert emailed back to the owner within 48 hours.

Q. How much do the SEAI charge for the BER Certificate?
A. The SEAI charge €25.00 for the processing and issuing of the BER Cert. This cost is included in our quoted price.

Q. Are the prices quoted on this website fully inclusive?
A. Yes, quoted costs are fully inclusive as part our Guaranteed Lowest Price promise. There are small additional charges for larger or extended houses, detached houses and properties requiring the completion of grant paperwork.
